Gold Mountain
The Gold Mountain subdivision is a newer development of distinctive homes, located off North Shore Drive in Big Bear City, and named for the mountain that serves as its backdrop. Comprised of only two streets, the area sits at the base of the landmark mountain, with a sunny southern exposure and views of the Sugarloaf mountain range to the north.
With a mild upslope, Gold Mountain Drive and Mt Doble Drive meander through the custom homes, some with landscaped yards and others with native trees and shrubs as their landscape. Home styles range from “mountain contemporary” to those with a Traditional feel. Wide streets with underground utilities afford a neat and clean appearance to the well-maintained neighborhood.
Generous lot sizes, one and two-story home designs, and a mix of full-time and second homes offer something for everyone, in a “neighborhood” environment with a mountain feel!
Located just off North Shore Drive/Hwy 18, Gold Mountain is conveniently located for quick access to the highway leading to the desert communities. Surrounded on three sides by National Forest, the neighborhood is also close to several popular hiking trails.
Just minutes to the Big Bear City business district and airport, and a short drive to the lake and marinas, and the central Big Bear Lake area and the goods and services offered there.
