New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade…

Annual Bald Eagle Count Begins December 21st…

The U. S. Forest Service is seeking volunteers to assist with its Annual Bald Eagle counts. This is the 35th year bald eagle counts are being held in the San Bernardino and San Jacinto mountains. Counts are held at Big Bear Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Lake Silverwood, Lake Perris and Lake Hemet. Volunteers are stationed at various vantage points around the lakes to watch for eagles. The Village Christmas Tree Lighting…

The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in The Village takes place tonight, November 29, at the corner of Pine Knot and Village Drive.  The festivities begin at 5 p.m., with Mayor Jay Obernolte arriving at 6 p.m. to start the countdown to Santa's arrival!  Santa and Mrs.Claus will be in the Santa House until 9 p.m..
