Below is an update for the Big Bear Real Estate Market. While activity seemed to be picking up recently, the number of pending properties has actually been holding steady for the past few months. Based on the January home sales report below, I don't know who is hurting more right now, the real estate agents in Big Bear or the home sellers. With only 29 home sales closed in the Big Bear Lake area during January 2008, times are tough for both I would imagine. The High Timber Ranch area of Moonridge has been around since 1999. The first phase contained 67 parcels. The second phase, which came up for sale in 2001, had 47 lots. There is potential for another 200 parcels to be developed within the next 2-5 years, depending on the real estate market conditions. The area has underground utilities along with protective CC&R's.
