Summit Estates

The area known as “Summit Estates” is located at the base of the Snow Summit winter resort, and just south of Big Bear Blvd.  It’s a mixture of single-family homes, condominiums and multi-unit townhouses, and a perfect location for the winter sports enthusiasts.

With some properties within steps of the Snow Summit resort, and others within walking distance, Summit Estates is a sought-after location for “ski chalets” and vacation rental properties

Studded with mature, towering Ponderosa Pines, the area offers a real Alpine feel.  Virtually level topography means easy-access even on snow-covered roads after a winter storm when conditions on the slopes are the best!

Summit Blvd. bisects the area, and plays host to a number of multi-unit townhomes, popular for seasonal and weekend rentals, or the perfect weekend getaway.  To the east and west of Summit Blvd you will find single-family home neighborhoods, with small to medium-size cabins and homes on manzanita-covered lots.

Switzerland Drive borders the area to the south, and is also zoned for multiple unit properties, including the popular “Escape” condominium development.

Home styles in Summit Estates are varied, with a sprinkling of Bavarian architecture to complement the “ski resort” atmosphere.  Single-story homes with garages co-exist with charming Gambrels and Chalets.

In the summer, easily walk to the Summit resort for mountain biking or just a relaxing ride on the Sky Chair to the View Haus at the top.

Summit Estates is just minutes from shopping, the lake and The Village.  If you’re looking for the perfect winter getaway, within walking distance to the slopes, this IS the place for you!
