Located at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center, at the far East end of the lake; Division and Big Bear Blvd are the cross streets for one of the longest lasting, and most fun celebrations of the year. The Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest is back for their 43rd year. The festivities are already in high gear!
After last year’s awesome Oktoberfest, the Burgermeister has excelled one more time! Two very special Friday nights, “Unplugged!”, have been added!
Beyond the bar offerings inside the main building, there are 3 Beer Gardens on the grounds. Set amongst the tall pines, there is a new stage.
And, the drink offerings have more than tripled!
There is now a new stage, with a Spaten Beer Garden. Spaten brewery has been in production since 1397. Their reputation for fine beers speaks for itself. On the stage, there will be live music from 4pm until 10pm, featuring a great mix of non-traditional bands.
Don’t worry. The traditional Oktoberfest music and dance fest goes on non-stop, inside the building.
You may be familiar with the Warsteiner Beer Garden along the outside of the building. This has been improved with more seating and BETTER BAR SERVICE.
Honoring our domestic breweries, and well worth raising the stein, there is now a Shock Top Sports Garden. Adding to the food mix, they will also be serving burgers, sausages, and other fine fair food.
The Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest runs every weekend until October 26.
From what we’ve seen, pre-purchase of tickets is HIGHLY recommended.
