The Big Bear Municipal Water District operates both public boat launch ramps located on the  North Shore. The West ramp is now closed for the season but the East ramp is on it's late season schedule which is open through November 30th - 7 am to 3 pm.  There is still time to enjoy some boating on our beautiful lake. … [Read more...]

Big Bear City Airport is also known as L35 to the pilots that frequent Big Bear Valley.  The airport is open 24 hours with automated weather, fuel and runway lighting.  The runway is 75' wide and 5,850 feet long which is large enough to accommodate a wide range of aircraft.  It's a quick trip from the LA area, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and points beyond.  And the view of Big Bear Valley is amazing from the sky! … [Read more...]
