– And Comes Out Stronger – Like the rest of America, the residents of Big Bear were glued to their television sets as a madman went on a rampage throughout Southern California. I finally made it to the slopes. It’s been almost two years since my last snowboard outing. After years of begging my nephew to come up and ride with me he called me over the holidays and informed me he was ready to join me on the slopes. Snow Summit’s Torchlight Parade Big Bear Lake offers some of the best New Year’s Eve entertainment in the Inland Empire. Treat yourself to the only torch light parade in Southern California. At 7:00 PM. Snow Summit will temporarily interrupt their night session. Hundreds of employees and their families will chairlift to the top, where everyone will receive a red torch.
